not a bad heater but, could be about 20,000 BTU's. the 11,000 BTU's that it is supposed to be really is not enough heat if you are just sitting there doing nothing to stay warm, and really is not enough heat if your are up and moving around to stay warm because it does not cover anymore than about a 4'-5' radius. it is "OK" i but would not buy another one(to small).

I am currently on my second patio heater cover. the first one i purchsed ripped before the 1st season was over. i purchased a second and it is alo starting to develop a rip.

Water accumulates in the base.

Rainwater gets into the tubular post and accumulates in the steel base. This will cause rust out in the base over time. I removed the tubular post, drilled holes in the base, and applied tar to the base to protect the steel. Otherwise this is a well built patio heater.

The product itself is a nice heater. Unfortunatlly the ignitor does not work. So it's very hard to light.

What is most impressive is that after a year on the patio, there is no evidence of surface finish weathering. Works as advertised.
