Comments about Fire Sense Fire Sense Pole Mounted Offset Infrared Spot Heater:

I have a condo on the water in Washington State, so a heater is essential to enjoy the deck all year 'round. It's low profile and heats immediately. I had originally seen it in a high-end catalog for almost $400. I was able to find it for about $100 less at the Patio Superstore. [...]Not really cons: The directions were a little hard to read but once I figured it out it went together easily. It's a little difficult to manuver because there aren't handles.

Comments about Fire Sense Fire Sense Pole Mounted Offset Infrared Spot Heater:

We use the heater on a deck next to our patio table. It warms the people sitting next to it fairly well if there is no wind, which is fine (and energy efficient) when it's just us. It's not useful, however, when we are entertaining since it doesn't reach the far side of our 54" table. I think it would be more effective in a more sheltered location or right next someone using a barbeque, for example. Looking into the heater isn't very attractive, so you'd want to position it with that in mind too.
