Comments about Dayva Dayva Premiere Liquid Propane Patio Heater:

This heater is not worth the money. It stopped working within 3 months. It would not light at all. It was returned (at my expense!) for warranty repair at which time they changed the ignitor for one that was supposed to work at high altitude (5400 ft). Once I got it back, it still would not light. A lot of money for 3 months of use. Also, the powder coating is already chipping off!

Comments about Dayva Dayva Premiere Liquid Propane Patio Heater:

Purchased two of these gems, spent a few hours assembling, used them once and they have never worked since. [...] They will not light, have tacky sheet metal frames whose latches have subsequently rusted off and clearly have design flaws in the regulators and heating elements. After dozens of purges, trying new propane, new regulators, etc, etc, I have discarded both. Dont bother. [...] Sorry, my time is more valuable than that.

Comments about Dayva Dayva Premiere Liquid Propane Patio Heater:

I have an asian garden in my back yard. The apparence of this heater appeard perfect. However, after one year it was rusting from the base and every screw (it was kept covered and out of the weather for 8 months) I was unable to light it by the end of the first seaason. I am a pilot, and a Doctor. Some how I don't think it's me.

Comments about Dayva Dayva Premiere Liquid Propane Patio Heater:

Great from the start. Notified unit was back-ordered and I received well before the back-order date. Put together another heater from another store and immediately returned as it was flimsy and didn't allow for heat to be radiated down. This unit has a great hood with excellent heat distribution, superior construction quality, unique and handsome design. Very happy with this unit and vendor.

We like the style, heat well. But latch rusted an fell of prior to one year. Workmanship is not up to the price we paid. I have seen better constructed heaters, not sure they have the heat output...

I have found it difficult to light every time- It also spits out little flashes of residue that are burning so we cannot have it too close to the sofa or leave it alone. Please advise me.
